Affiliates carry the traffic. The brand name should still be yours.

In iGaming, compliance usually means licences, KYC and responsible-gambling rules. There is a quieter kind: which affiliate ranks on your brand name in each market, whether they are on your list, and what their page says. Serpward watches that.

See who ranks on your brand

The problem

The compliance platform knows the payout. It does not know the page.

An iGaming affiliate platform records clicks, deposits and what each partner was paid. It has no view of the search results: whether a partner ranks on your brand name in Germany on phones, whether an ex-partner still does, whether a page carrying your logo and bonus terms points at something that is not you.
That is the gap where iGaming fraud detection usually stops — not the fake deposit, but the ordinary page that quietly takes the player who had already chosen you, in a market nobody at head office has searched from this month.

Method

Four steps, repeated on a schedule

01

You say what to protect, and where

The searches people use to find you, and the markets that matter: country, language, and whether the search happens on a phone or a desktop. You also say what is yours — your domains and your licensed partners. Those are never reported.

02

The results are collected again and again

Each search is re-run on its own schedule. A single snapshot tells you little: pages appear, drop and come back under a new address, and that movement is the thing worth watching.

03

Every page is recorded before anything is sent

The page is opened and captured: a screenshot as it appeared, the passages that match your material, and a check for content shown to the search engine but withheld from the visitor. This happens first, because a page removed later cannot be captured afterwards.

04

The notice goes out, and the position is checked again

A takedown notice is filed with the exact locations and links to the captured evidence, submitted through a real browser. Filing is not the outcome; removal is, so the search keeps running.

Evidence

A notice without evidence is a notice that gets refused

Most takedown attempts fail quietly: a form is filled in, a URL is pasted, nothing is attached. The person reading it cannot see what was on the page, cannot tell which part of it is yours, and has no way to confirm the page is still there. A claim that takes work to verify is the one that gets refused.
Every notice filed here carries the captured result, the passages that match your material, and the time both were recorded.

Coverage

Several licences, several result pages, several sets of affiliates

An operator live in more than one market has a separate brand result page in each: its own language, its own affiliates, different on a phone and on a desktop. Monitoring is set per combination, because that is how the results are built.

Country

The results in Germany are not the results in Kazakhstan. Each country is watched on its own.

Language

The same country returns different pages in different languages.

Device

A page that ranks on a phone may be absent on a desktop. Both are checked.

Over time

Positions are kept, not just noted: when a page appeared, how long it held, whether it came back.

Who it is for

You need this if any of the following is true

Your brand search is not yours

Type your brand the way a player does, in a market you are live in. If the first organic result is an affiliate, you are paying commission on a player who was already coming.

The programme has hundreds of partners

Terms are enforced where somebody happens to look. Checking every brand query in every market every week is not a job a person can do.

Ex-affiliates still rank on your brand

The contract ended; the pages kept their positions and their traffic.

A page carries your logo and bonus terms

It looks like you, ranks on your name, and sends the player somewhere else.

Regulators ask what your affiliates are saying

In several markets the operator answers for its affiliates’ pages. Knowing which pages exist is the first step.

Your compliance platform does not see search results

It sees what a partner sent and what they were paid. It cannot see what their page said or where it stood.

Pricing

The number comes after the first search, not before it

There is no self-serve plan. What the work costs depends on how many queries and markets need watching and how much is already out there — and neither of us knows that until we look. The first search costs you nothing.

Questions

Is this an iGaming compliance platform?

No. A compliance platform covers licences, KYC, payments and what partners were paid. This watches the one thing such platforms cannot see: the search results for your brand, per market, and who ranks there.

Is this iGaming fraud detection?

Only in one narrow sense — pages that rank on your brand name without a licence to do so. Deposit fraud, bonus abuse and payment fraud are different problems and are not covered.

Do you watch paid search?

No. Organic results only; paid placements are outside what this sees.

How do you know which affiliates are ours?

You give the list: your own domains and every licensed affiliate, per market if it differs. Everything on it is excluded before anything is reported.

What if we are fine with some affiliates ranking on our brand?

Then they go on the list. The point is to know who is there and to decide deliberately rather than by accident.

What happens with a page that is not on the list?

It is recorded — screenshot, matching passages, query, market, a cloaking check — and you decide: a word with the partner, or a takedown notice with the record attached. After filing, the query keeps running.

Start with a look at your own results
